Tuesday 29 October from 10:30am to 1:30pm
Learn drypoint printmaking techniques through step-by-step demonstrations and explanations.
Drypoint etching is an engraving method in which the design to be printed is scratched directly into a surface with a sharply pointed instrument. Totman will teach a range of mark-making methods using traditional and more experimental techniques. You’ll then use what you’ve learned to create a portfolio of unique prints to take home.
This workshop is open to both novice and more experienced students, with Totman providing individualised attention to assist each student.
Andrew Totman is a master printmaker and educator working predominantly in printmaking and painting. He has held over 50 solo exhibitions, and his works are held in private and public collections in China, Italy, France, the USA, Japan and Norway.
