These spring school holidays, get hands-on with free art-making workshops, kids art tours and more at the Art Gallery of New South Wales.
Free drop-in workshops:
Festival wreath and garlands – Daily, 30 September – 4 October, 11am – 3.30pm
City shapes and skylines – Daily, 30 September – 11 October (except Wed 9 Oct) 11am – 3.30pm
Colours and lines – Wednesday 9 October, 11am – 1pm
Walking wave drawing – Saturday 12 October, 11am – 1pm and 3–4pm
Create a lantern with artist Matthew Aberline – Wednesdays 9–23 October, 5–8.30pm
Booked workshop (for 9–12 years):
What’s for breakfast? Still life workshop – Tuesday 8 and Wednesday 9 October, 1.30–3pm
Free family-friendly exhibition:
