Survivor Reflections: Jack Feiler

Where
Sydney Jewish Museum
Sydney Jewish Museum
148 Darlinghurst Road, Darlinghurst NSW 2010
When

Sunday 3 November from 2:30pm to 3:30pm

Holocaust survivor, Jack was born in June 1944 in the village of Nowa Gora just outside of Krakow, Poland, where a small group of Jewish people were hiding in the farmstead of local villagers.

Unable to keep a baby with them, which would risk the lives of the family and the farmers who were hiding them, Jack's parents were faced with an impossible decision: what to do with their newborn son.

Join us in the Museum for this unmissable conversation between Jack and Museum Educator, Dr Kip Green. You’ll learn about his experiences in the war, life afterwards, and what it felt like to survive the Holocaust as a baby.
