This special AAA fundraiser walking tour will be led by Tone Wheeler, architect, storyteller and President of the Australian Architecture Association.
This 2-hour tour will visit Surry Hills North of Foveaux St (NOFO) and includes the tiniest terrace houses, through to factory buildings and funky warehouse conversions to contemporary apartment buildings, historic schools and courts, churches, new hotels, and the conversion of not one, but two former hospitals (St Margaret’s and the Women’s). And a dollop of brutalism.
