Introduction to macrame, family session 5+

Join us for a fun and hands on beginners macrame workshop to create your very own keyring from scratch.

Macrame is a crafting technique that uses knotting on different forms of textiles.

Through knotting threads, yarn or different textiles, we can create various beautiful objects.

Library staff will be on hand to guide you through the craft and provide all the materials, tools and know how.

  • This activity is suitable for persons aged 5-11 years and their families.

  • Parents or guardians must sign in for attendees and stay to participate for the duration of the activity.

  • Places are limited. Bookings are essential.
