Classes run for one full day (either a Saturday or a Sunday), or across two consecutive half-days on Tues & Weds evenings.

Designed for beginners, this class will show you how to weave a unique rug (50x70 cm) from repurposed textiles.

Floor loom weaving has something for everyone. Combining mental and physical activity, our classes are engaging, mindful and fun. Get creative with colours and textures – once you’re in the flow you’ll be surprised at what you can do.

Tools and materials are supplied and our experienced teachers will guide you through the basics of weaving. Our small class sizes ensure you receive individual instruction. You’ll pre-select your design and colours and get an instructional video for finishing the rug ends at home.

Floor loom weaving offers an ideal opportunity to unplug from the digital world and enjoy a hands-on slowcraft experience.
